M. MAHESWARAN is a specialist in law labour laws, he Graduated in Social Sciences in the year 1978, from Madras university and completed his M.A – Social Work (Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management), in the year 1980, from Madras university. He graduated L.L.B in the year 2000, from B.M.S, College of Law, Bangalore University, and completed his Master of Laws (Labour & Industrial Relation and Administrative Law) in the year 2010 from the University of Madras. He was admitted to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry and enrolled as an Advocate on 18.06.2011.
He started his career as Personnel Officer (Trainee), in RAJALAKSHMI MILLS Ltd., Coimbatore, and was a Welfare Officer (Trainee) Bharat Coking Coal Ltd., served as Manager (Personnel & Industrial Relations) in BINNY LIMITED., Manager (Personnel) in INDIA CEMENTS, Dy. General Manager (Corporate HR) in S M APPARELS, Chief Manager (Employee Relations) in SPIC – Southern Petro-Chemical Industrial Corporation Ltd., Deputy General Manager (Corporate HR), in HATSUN Agro Product Ltd., Divisional Manager (Human Services), in CATERPILLAR INDIA PVT. LTD., and Joined as General Manager (Corporate HR), in NLC India Limited., and completed his service as an Executive Director (Corporate Liaison). After his retirement from the service he started his practice as an advocate with effect from 26.02.2018, and joined JRJ Associates.
He has around 40 years of varied Experience and Exposure to all the main and critical areas of HR, Industrial Relations, Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Statutory Compliance. He has negotiated and was successful in signing several long term settlements like wage, salary, productivity & improvement norms, Man power & resources rationalization, Bonus and Ex-Gratia payments. He has successfully handled strikes & Lock outs, handled large unions seasoned Trade Union Leaders of Several Political affiliations. He has Good working Knowledge of Indian Labour laws. He has represented Management in various judicial Forums like Conciliation, Labour Commissioners, Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, High Courts and Supreme Court.
He is associated with JRJ ASSOCIATES since June 2018. He is now concentrating on Civil and Labour laws, and is taking care of all statutory related compliances for our clients, and also representing in High Court, City Civil Courts, Family Courts, Criminal courts and Consumer Forum.
